Puzzle Post in education
News literacy through play
Puzzle Post games are designed to spark curiosity about current events. For students and educators, that makes them a natural fit in the classroom — a daily warm-up that encourages reading the news and discussing what's happening in the world.
All games are free to play in the browser, with no installation required. Students can play anonymously or create an account to track their progress over time.
Educational partnerships
We work with news publishers who integrate Puzzle Post games into their student subscription programmes. If your school or university already has a news subscription through one of our publisher partners, you may have access to a dedicated game experience through them.
If you're an educator interested in using Puzzle Post in your curriculum, reach out and we'll find a way to make it work. Email us at education@puzzlepost.nl.
What educators are saying
Teachers have used daily word puzzles as:
- a five-minute conversation starter at the beginning of a class;
- a gentle introduction to current events for younger students;
- a vocabulary exercise tied to today's news;
- a competitive element in media literacy courses.
Privacy for minors
Puzzle Post is designed for users aged 16 and above. Younger students can play anonymously without creating an account — no personal data is collected in that case. For classroom use with students under 16, we recommend anonymous play or a publisher-managed solution. Contact us for guidance.
